Sondos Mehri
Sondos Mehri earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from École Nationale des Ingénieurs de Tunis, Tunisia, in 2017. Her dissertation, titled “Inductive Wireless Power Transfer System for Intelligent Medical Devices,” focused on optimizing the design of inductive links for medical applications. Currently, she works as a Research and Development Manager at IGNION, where she manages a project funded by the European Innovation Council that focuses on designing antennas for IoT applications using virtual antenna technology, specifically developing multi-radio solutions for NB-IoT, GNSS, and Bluetooth standards.
Prior to this, from 2019 to 2022, she served as a Research Engineer at CEA-Leti (Commissariat à l’Énergie Atomique et aux Énergies Alternatives), where she focused on industrial projects, including the design of RFID tag antennas for challenging environments. From 2018 to 2019, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the EMC Laboratory at the University of Central Florida, conducting research on millimeter-wave antenna arrays for 5G cellular applications.
