Ignion named as one of Catalonia’s Exponential Leaders 2026 by ACCIÓ

ACCIÓ, the Catalan Government’s agency for business competitiveness, has named Ignion one of the ten Catalonia’s Exponential Leaders of 2026, placing the company among the region’s most disruptive deep tech firms in the programme’s sixth edition.
The bar was high. ACCIÓ reviewed 175 projects this year (70% from startups, 30% from established companies), shortlisted 30 finalists, and named only 10 as Exponential Leaders. The programme singles out companies that do not merely adapt to their market but set out to reshape it, across health sciences, ICT and agrifood.
Ignion earned its place on the strength of its Virtual Antenna® technology, a miniaturised antenna component that lets engineers integrate multiple wireless connectivity standards into compact IoT devices while cutting size, complexity and development time. Paired with the Oxion™ platform, it shortens the path from radio requirements to a working IoT design.
In ACCIÓ’s words, Ignion is a “deep tech company specialising in wireless connectivity for IoT devices” tackling the size, complexity and cost limits of traditional antennas.
"Being chosen from a field of more than 200 companies is a testament to the whole Ignion team. It confirms our position as a company transforming connectivity through Virtual Antenna® technology and it belongs to everyone here."
Jaume Anguera, CTO, Ignion
